Before I post specific names, a specific church, a location, and the “evil doers”, and “purveyors of pain”, from a specific situation, I must exhaust “Scriptural Due Process.”  “Scriptural Due Process” is found in Matthew 18:15-17, Leviticus 19:17-18, and John 7:51.  Sure.. great pain God will bring by the confusion they caused as described in Galatians 5:10.  And God will cause them to “stumble”, per Isaiah 28.  But only after “exhausting”, then this pain is brought upon them by God… and if… only if, I first exhaust “Scriptural Due Process” by communicating with them first.   I would rather have God on my side.

I would only hope, that after communicating with them and confronting them that they repent to avoid what God will do to them.  And God had to teach Jonah a lesson…. That he is compassionate, even though Nineveh deserved God’s Wrath.  Yes God warned Nineveh of what would happen, yet, God relented of his wrath, as God is compassionate, because Nineveh repented.   Yet, at the same time, for the unrepentant, God toasted them, as displayed by the Edomites, the descendants of Esau.   (Obadiah & Malachi 1:2-5).  GCC nationally dissolved….  Why?  The leaders did not listen.  What next?  Local churches?  We shall see after direct communication.

I have a plan… and some will go to jail.

There is no civil protection when they “go beyond what is written.”  (I Cor. 4:1-6, Duet 12:32, Rev. 22:18).  Especially when people attempt suicide as a result of their “counsel.”

Welcome to the forum, Daniel. I would be interested in hearing more of your story, if and when you feel ready to share. I'm very sorry that you or your loved one were driven to the brink of suicide by your church. Church should be a place where people feel safe and respected.

For a supposedly Christian organization, GCx seems to have produced a surprisingly high number of attempted suicides, nervous breakdowns, and psychiatric interventions.

Welcome also, Daniel.  I agree with Huldah.

The dark oppressive and abusive atmosphere of GCx produced so much painful fruit.  So many thistles and thorns we were fed, it’s only God that we survived.  Heartbroken members were soooo not alone; except that not too many voiced their pain so they felt very alone.

Hoping your story, when it’s time to share, will be used to comfort and encourage MANY others.
