I'm new here, and I wasn't sure where to put this topic...so if it needs to be moved to another area, please move it Smiley

I currently attend a GCM church. I have no qualms with mine, but a friend of mine who is also a part of my church mentioned some of the bad history, so I decided to do some research on it and found this site. I'm glad I'm aware of what other GCx churches have had problems with, I just don't like that I'm slightly paranoid about my own now (haha). I like to think objectively about most things, and I think I might be lucky enough to be in one of the healthier campus churches.

Anywho, I attended Ignite this year (well, 2011) in Ohio. I don't know if anyone is aware, but all the main session talks and breakout sessions (workshops) have been put online to listen to.

This -> http://www.gcmcignite.org/media.php?pageID=17&itemID=30 was the 2nd night-time main session talk. I found it very moving, and like the pastor said in the beginning...it had a different feel than some of the others (which I mostly thoroughly enjoyed/hit home, too).

I'd like you (whoever reads this) to listen if you can spare a little bit of time...Just curious about what those who are no longer with/have issues with GCx think about it in terms of content and depth of the teaching.

Thanks!
