but yeah, I get to fellowship with God, here in earth,
Oh how I do sometimes wish we had an audible relationship with God. He hears us, and we have His written Word as an answer, but not an audible voice. Adam had it good in that regard, I suppose. And the prophets certainly had that relationship. But He tells the rest of us to hear Him through His Word. Yes, I believe His Spirit works through our spirit, and that He controls our very hearts (all in the Bible), but that is so not concrete it is hard for me to get a handle on. I just am not a mystic. And I know He meant it that way because of all the practical decision making tools and advice He gave us in the Word. I just long for the day when we humbly walk up to the actual throne in New Jerusalem and simply ask, "What shall I do for you next, Lord?"
