Anyone know of the name of the GCx church in Cedar Rapids?  Any information about it?

Know of good churches in the area?

New Life is the GCx church or the good church you recommend?

I know Pete Grose and Kurt Jurgensmeier are leaders of the GCx church.  I want to avoid that church.  Sorry, I don't buy that some GCx churches are good.  The whole movement IMO is corrupt.

I know both of them better than I'd like. They are leading a cult and I'd stay as far away as I could. They lead by micromanaging control with unquestioning following of leadership. They take personal advantrage of someone's faith for their own power and self glorification.  If you want to know more, contact me.

To All Posting:

Your willingness to take time and effort to expose ongoing spiritual abuse is sooo helpful to other believers, and that is who God loves dearly and is jealous after.  I believe we are actually joining God in a movement He is performing to awaken His people to Spiritual Abuse.  Those that were victims of it are said to be the most effective in helping people out of it.  God loves to turn our rubble and ruins into glorious gardens.  I have and am experiencing this very wonder.

Pray about the possibility of Him leading you to join him there.  Experiencing God by Henry Blackaby may be helpful to read regarding this principle.

In His Grace,

Janet

Thank you Janet:

Your posts are an edification to my faith and to my healing. This site helps to heal by telling our stories.  I've been so hurt by the New Life Church in Cedar Rapids and I know so many God-loving Christians who have had the same experience.

May God offer healing and love to his children ....
