False representations mislead, deceive, and trick the viewer. Magicians use smoke and mirrors to hide what is really going on. Others use
empty arguments that amount to
nothing but wind. Some use
confusion to distract from the actual truth. Paul says to the christians in Galatia, "Who has
bewitched you?" One of the biblical meanings of that word is
to use trickery. The false teachers there
PRETENDED to have Authority Given By God.
Today, when you go to the Home Page of the GCx site, the VERY FIRST
IMAGE you see is the Board of The National Association of Evangelicals (NAE), not a picture of the GCx Board. You see the words, "Unity in the Body of Christ".
What a HOAX! They don't even have genuine unity in their movement. Though, discouragingly, the current Chairman of GCx is now part of the NAE board, they
still practice Authoritarianism,
Manipulation and
Spiritual Abuse which
bullies their people into conformed thinking (giving a false sense of unity). Now, after spending many dollars and years
cleaning up the outside, they have
presented themselves for a stamp of approval. Their veneer is much like the ones the False Prophets and Pharisees used:
"Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: Because they lead my people astray, saying "Peace, when there is no peace and because when a flimsy wall is built, they cover it with whitewash..." (Jeremiah 5) I believe they are acting out of
their own authority and not God's authority.
"SEE, they are all FALSE!
Their deeds amount to NOTHING;
Their IMAGES are but WIND and CONFUSION"
Isaiah 41:29
Jeremiah 5:13 says "
"The prophets are but wind and the word is NOT in them". GCx exiles past and present: This is a
Counterfeit Church with
Counterfeit Christianity. THIS IS NOT HOW JESUS LOVES OR LEADS!!! HE GIVES COMPASSION & FREEDOM.
GCx seems to constantly be
clouding the appearance of their movement. They get all kinds of good press from people who hardly know them. I remember a christian
doctor many of the elders wives saw was asked to write his impression of them. Then some other community and business people were asked to make comments from very little exposure. All of this so they could print and distribute a very expensive, time consuming, and "reputable" Public Relations Magazine Style Brochure,
especially to parents, and others voicing
suspicions. One short-lived project, which I'd guess used tithing money and time of their people, was a PR Radio Show to further
aggrandize their image which included fictitious callers. Another was a newspaper which
all GCx'ers were
slyly persuaded to
financially support and distribute. Again, to make them
appear reputable, bigger and more important than they were. Underlying, I'm certain was to have the
persona of being approved by God[/b]. Par for the course, the workers in most of their projects were either laboring for no pay or working for inadequate pay. I personally talked with more than one of them who said they
felt "USED".They have
changed their name and "image" whenever there is too much BAD Press about them. They
horrifically conceal the damage to those in their trap (now and in the past). They show more concern about their
IMAGE than anything they do. I would venture to say a high percentage of their work is on fabricating a REPUTABLE FACADE. They use shunning measures in an attempt to COVER the damage they themselves have caused. That's why they are told it is sinful to "report" (abuse) an elder. Their "speak no evil of an ELDER" rule actually communicates in "GCx code",
YOU, STUPID LITTLE SHEEP, HAVE NO AUTHORITY TO SPEAK THE TRUTH! (because you don't know what your are talking about!) They pretty much preach that
only the ELDERS HAVE an AUTHORITY on the
interpretation of the TRUTH, and anyone disagreeing is DANGEROUSLY MISGUIDED!
"For day after day they seek me out;
they SEEM eager to know my ways,
AS IF they were a nation that does what is right
and has not forsaken the commands of its God
They ask me for just decisions
and SEEM eager for God to come near them...

HONESTY, HUMILITY, and TENDERNESS, RECOMPENSE and SERVITUDE are the EVIDENCES OF TRUE REPENTENCE and GENUINE REMORSE.
"Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen:
to loose the CHAINS OF INJUSTICE
and untie the CORDS OF THE YOKE,
to set the OPPRESSED FREE
and BREAK EVERY YOKE?"
