AND more info on the CONF:

STAND: Stay True And Never Deviate

“Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.” — Ephesians 6:13 NIV

In a world of relativity, taking a stand for something – anything – can seem a bit radical. But we are told over and over in the Bible to “stand firm” in our faith, in our convictions and in our witness to the world. In fact, we are told in 1 Corinthians 16:13 to “Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong.” Also in 1 Corinthians 15:58 it says, “Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.”

God wants us to take a stand for Him – to be radical in our beliefs, relationships, service and in our actions. To stand out, stand up and stand firm in our faith! The question becomes, not “Should I stand?” but, “How can I stand firm in the faith?”

This year our annual High School Leadership Training (HSLT) conference will focus on biblical truths and lots of practical applications which will help you S.T.A.N.D. (Stay True And Never Deviate) in your faith.

Parents and students please join us for HSLT Utah 2012. All students going into 9th grade through high school and their parents are encouraged to attend. There will be a number of opportunities to hear from pastor/dads as they share how God has helped them walk in faith on their journey to take a stand in their own lives. We will have time for service and evangelism as well as some great fellowship with other Great Commission teens. Join us for an opportunity to have your faith strengthened as you take a stand for Jesus in new and exciting ways!
