There are many points that Mark Darling denigrates Catholics in his sermons over the years.  I'm actually sick of it now.  Why does Darling vomit about Catholics in public like that?  Does anyone know why he does this to such a great group of people?  [Please don't turn this into a salvation by grace and Mary debate please.]  He denigrates them and other groups so often. But he has a huge ant-in-his-pants about Catholics.  Is it because of Mary?  Maybe he is against works-righteousness?  Maybe that.  I would like to note, that I feel Mark Darling does live in a world of works that if you do what GCM says to do, even from HSLT from that wee age of 12, be part of their elitist church YOUR WHOLE LIFE, you are really really a Christian. Catholics cannot be saved as they pray to Mary and some Lutherans, crazy idea, like to have a brew once-in-awhile.  You know what I'm talking about here.  He vomits all over anyone that is not like him or his world.  Some would say the term xenophobia.  I would say Mark Darling is xenophobic at all levels, as I have heard him comment about South Asians (i.e. Indians ) with a very degrading tone about them.  Mark was talking about his son's web-design business and that he outsourced to India once that it was not a very good business model to do as the breakdown in communication.  It might be true, but why would you degrade a peoples group like that in a sermon.

So, he has degraded Catholics, South Indians.  I could talk about his view of fat people.  Do you want me to make a more composite list.  I can.

from an online dictionary:
Quote
Xenophobia can manifest itself in many ways involving the relations and perceptions of an ingroup towards an outgroup, including a fear of losing identity, suspicion of its activities, aggression, and desire to eliminate its presence to secure a presumed purity.[3] Xenophobia can also be exhibited in the form of an "uncritical exaltation of another culture" in which a culture is ascribed "an unreal, stereotyped and exotic quality"
