I'm amazed at some of the odd terms used today in the Evangelical world.  I thought the biblical term is simply "restore" when it comes to correcting and counseling and helping fallen leaders back into the role of leading others.  From what I read in the New Testament it is a rather involved process that involves a thorough working out of making things right and guiding someone back into the role of pastoring a flock.  The hip term today is "replatforming" which sounds so completely secular I could hurl.  Anyone seen this article about it?

Maybe the author is using "replatforming" to distinguish between two different ideas? There's "restoring to fellowship" vs. "restoring to leadership," AKA "replatforming." Maybe that's what she was trying to get across? In addition to "replatforming," it was very distracting the way the author kept using "platform" as a verb. "Even so, Osborne continued to platform Driscoll..." She really needed a good editor to make this article sound more journalistic and less buzzwordy, even though I believe she's addressing a very important and timely subject.
