Some of you oldtimers, especially Maryland folks, may have known Ray and Brenda Namie. Their oldest son, Steve, passed away unexpectedly from a heart attack on Saturday. Please pray for the whole family. He leaves a wife and two adopted daughters, approximately 8 and 2 years old. I will post funeral and viewing arrangements if anyone wants the info.

Hi, Asking -- thanks for posting about Steve.  My wife and I heard about his passing away from Rob Lamp...we're sad and shocked to hear the news.  We heard there was a huge turnout at his memorial service -- one small token of how many lives he touched, just by being Steve Namie.  I had the good fortune to be able to sing with him a little bit, and we had some really good conversations as we were all trying to find ourselves after Valley Brook left GC.  He gave me musical support and encouragement at a time when I seemed to be finding as many critics as supporters.
