In recreating the rest of my life, I'm constantly drawn to the constants and absolutes that I know to be true.  I'd like to hear some of yours.  Here are a few of mine:

1.  God exists.  I can see this through the miracles of creation, children, love and goodness.

2.  I am unique.  I don't have to be like everyone else.

3.  Beyond my behaviors, God says I have value and worth.  I am human and worthy of respect.

4.  Other humans are also worthy of respect.  This includes children.

5.  I am free and have the freedom to choose my path.  Freewill means just what it says.

6.  I don't know how it all works out.  That's okay.  I am seeking to know God.  I believe in Christianity, but I refuse to be a know it all about other's beliefs anymore.  I'll share my faith, but mostly through me just living life.  I'm not afraid to say I don't have all the answers.

Well for starters, I'll take Agatha's first statement.  Truest words I've heard in quite some time.

2.  God works in mysterious ways.  He reveals the purpose to me later, but faith sustains me in the moment.

3.  There are people who see the Bible as just a book.  Showing them the bridge method or others will not always work.

4.  I believe in the Bible, but I believe I do not need to use the Bible in a religious context to evangelize.

5.  No one controls my actions but me.  They may influence to various degrees, but the choices ultimately rest with me.

6.  Just because you are a child does not automatically make you wrong when you disagree with an adult.

7.  Church events, attendance and functions are not mandatory, they are voluntary.  I choose to follow Christ, but going to single church events is entirely my choice.

8.  Step up or step aside.  No one gets the right to complain unless they've done everything they could do about a problem.

9.  I don't regret anything I've ever done.  Those things made me the person I am today, the person God made me.

10.  I know I'm not perfect, but that's why God sent his son.
