I've always liked Gary and his family.  So did my very "I-don't-know-about-this-GC-thing" best friend. Not exactly a spiritual analysis, I know, but like Sam I think the crime reference is over the top.  (So is the "freak" reference.)

Blonde, hang in there. I hope I don't sound presumptuous, but trust me, I know that healing is painful. Sometimes you just gotta scream.

I personally didn't find your Bali comments out of line at all. I didn't see anything personal directed at anyone, just some honest thoughts and observations.  Good food for thought.
