I know John Hopler. I'm sure he would listen to you and work things out with you.

You have no idea what my own history is with John Hopler. Please don't give me assurances about things you don't know and don't understand.

I don't think anyone from this forum has suggested reconciling with GC. That's a concept put forth by John Hopler, whose idea of reconciliation seems to consist mainly in getting the critics of GCx to agree to go silent.

I know John Hopler. I'm sure he would listen to you and work things out with you. But it has to be within reason. If you asked him for example to quit believing the Bible, he wouldn't agree with you. But part of any reconciliation would be that people would quit talking bad about one another.

If I speak bad of another person, whether justified or not, I'm not reconciled with that individual. That's common sense. I'm sure you agree with it. For instance Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton are not reconciled to each other, because they talk bad about each other. I'm sure both Republicans and Democrats agree with that.

STOP TROLLING!!!!!!!!!  STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a forum for those who have left GCM churches and want to discuss the harm they experienced there. You are not posting on topic with your bat sheet crazy posts. STOP.

No, I never commented on your knowledge with John Hopler. I just commented on mine.

The topic is the wishlist, not whether I'm trolling. And stop yelling at me. I might just open up a post how you are abusing me.

This is incredibly sad. Mark Darling was found accused of sexual misconduct by his own church (dating back to ~20 years ago) and stripped of his ordination and people are still here commenting and defending him and making light of abuse!

Good lord. I feel like for these people, even if they had video evidence they would still ignore it and choose to believe that it was doctored, a miscommunication, not the whole story, etc.

I do wonder what the goal is for someone like PietWowo -- Darling's legacy has been forever tarnished and he has clearly decided that he no longer wants to be a part of Evergreen, whats the point of coming on this forum anymore?

I suggest users like that be ignored, eventually they will tire.

You're right, Faith. OneOfMany was also right. At first I was gullible enough to take this troll at face value, but his last reply in this thread finally opened my eyes. PWW is too smart to come off as openly hostile. He throws out just enough bait in every new post to keep things stirred up. I fell for it, too. Oh, well, live and learn.

I'm defending, neither am I accusing of what I don't know. The only thing that I read in a report was that there was inappropriate sexual conversation.... If we consider that true, I will say as I have said many times that it is not correct, but not very clear. And that we should not  just believe anything that we hear, because that would be a form of abuse towards Mark Darling and his family.

Besides that I don't think this forum was an appropriate way of dealing with this "problem."

Peace to you Huldah! Hope you're well Smiley I always appreciate how level-headed your comments are.
