Though he never truly left, Jim McCotter is now posting political articles on Substack (https://jimmccotter.substack.com).
All of it is Christian Nationalist / Seven Mountain Mandate bull****,
with a bit of racism sprinkled in.

Apparently, over the last few years or so, he has also started a new church group focusing on small, anonymous, house churches.
There doesn't seem to be any official name for it, but, according to his website (https://housechurches.net/),
many of them are all across the United States (no locations are given for confirmation).

Thank you for the update, LC. It looks like Jim is still being Jim.

Having a media presence has always been important to him, but he seems to be struggling to find a platform that will guarantee him an audience. I suspect that he'll still be pursuing fame and influence as long as he's physically capable of it. His problem, as I see it, is threefold: his shenanigans are too well documented for him to have any credibility; he lacks the charisma to compete with the present generation of social media stars; and he's completely lacking in self-awareness about the first two points.

We'll never see the thing that most of us need to see from him: an apology for all the spiritual, emotional, and financial devastation he's caused to victims both in and outside the church. He has never asked for forgiveness, and there's no reason to hope that he ever will.

I was looking through McCotter's substack just now and found this article on women in the American Revolution. The date of the article is May, 2023.

https://jimmccotter.substack.com/p/women-of-the-revolutionary-war

It's unlike the McCotter of my Solid Rock days to give women much credit, so I got suspicious and did some searching.

It turns out that the Substack article is word-for-word the same as this article, dated February 2023, on a site called American Minute, by one William Federer. Even the illustrations are identical.

https://americanminute.com/blogs/todays-american-minute/tagged/women-of-the-revolution-as-there-were-fathers-in-our-republic-so-there-were-mothers-coolidge-american-minute-with-bill-federer

William Federer is not mentioned or credited in connection with the Substack article.

I'm just putting this out there, for people to draw their own conclusions.
