Two international christian women speakers have been extemely helpful to my encouragement, motivation, growth, and good understanding and application of God's Word.  I cannot underestimate the effect they have had on giving me a sound grasp on God's Word and motivating me to live it.  They can both be seen and heard on TV or the Internet (including instant downloads of past teachings).  They are Beth Moore and Joyce Meyers.  I recommend watching especially Beth Moore on this past Wednesday's broadcast on the net: "Life Today with James Robison".  By the way, Mr. Robison is one of the most sincere christian men on television and spends all his airtime interviewing other christians who are living their faith.  He is a great example of what a pastor/sheperd should be like.

But, without the Body of Christ in my local church I would still have a low self-esteem.  The believers there accept me unconditionally, affirm me assuredly, love me generously, and encourage me tenderly.  It is natural for believers to do this UNLESS they are so consumed with the facade they must keep up, and the "works" they must do, and the "high" people they must impress.  Been there, done that in GCI for 10 years.

Let's enter into His Rest and Acceptance and Love Eachother Sincerely as his word commands.  What a relief!

Leaning on Him,

Janet

Innerlight,

Thanks.  It has only taken me twenty years to get here, but I'm a slow learner.  I'm confident others can heal in a much shorter amount of time.
But, the cool part is because it was God who healed me, it will never be taken away.
