LEFT FOR DEAD, SPIRITUALLY SPEAKING

There is no denying that spiritual dryness & death (unabundant life gone) is the goal of our enemy once we are saved!

"...of whom many say 'Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut off'"
Ezekiel 37:11

Let's pray this powerful scriptural prayer (found in Ezekiel 37) for ourselves and for our brothers in Christ who have been exiled or are currently exiled through GCx:

O Sovereign Lord, open up our (spiritual) graves (where we have lost hope) and BRING us up from them.
Bring us back to YOU, to pure and simple devotion to Christ ALONE (NOT idols made by men we worship) SO THAT we will know (again) that you are the LORD (upon whom we are to TRUST and RELY).
Revive Your Spirit in us and make us LIVE ABUNDANTLY, and settle us in our OWN (promised) land, where you through your VERY OWN WORD (not mens') have called us.
Give us TRUE shepherds after Your HEART, who are ALIVE IN YOUR SPIRIT, who suffer for your sheep (instead of feeding upon them).

In Our Great Loving and Meek Dear Shepherd's Name, Jesus, Amen.

Here is a very encouraging word I just found from Beth Moore when we feel spiritually lifeless.  It speaks to the passage of scripture above and infuses us with divine hope.  You can hear her for yourself and listen to what the Spirit is saying to you about her message.

Faith is Our Daily Resurrection

Micah Bournes gives encouraging light to our lives in his short oral prose. The most motivating thing for me was the truth of his verse that ‘FAITH IS The RESURRECTION for the believer’. It is so for us day by day, and moment by moment which I believe is also what Romans 1:17 says (below).

“For the gospel reveals the righteousness of God that comes by faith from start to finish, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”    BSB

Believers’ lives in Christ are not to simply start by faith, then move on to works which it seemed was the progression practiced in GCx which Galatians 3:1-6 warns against.

1You foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? Before your very eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed as crucified. 2I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by believing what you heard? 3Are you so foolish? After beginning by means of the Spirit, are you now trying to finish by means of the flesh? 4Have you experienced so much[b in vain[/b]—if it really was in vain? 5So again I ask, does God give you his Spirit and work miracles among you by the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard? 6So also Abraham “believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.”

Our lives are to continue in active faith until we finish on earth as Romans 1:17 (above) actually says, and then see Jesus face to face. ‘Faith from start to finish’ though some translations say from “faith to faith.”

Be moved by listening:
