I’ve been listening to this guy’s show for some time. Thought this episode was worth sharing here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=mnNoERR6Nuo

Thanks. I listen to John Delaney's videos from time to time. This one makes some really good points about recovering from a perfectionistic, hyper-religious upbringing. Or for that matter, from any shame-based, performance-oriented upbringing.

Araignee19, thank you for pointing out that show. I found it helpful and others here from a GCx background can likely relate to things the caller struggles with due to a hyper-religious, legalistic upbringing. It seems the children of many GCx elders could very much relate. What Dr. Delony shares in response is worth consideration. Interesting that he is a PK like the caller.

Skimming some of your older posts on here I also found your thoughtful commentary on GCx and its affect on us worth listening to.
