Greentruth, just as no one on "your side" calls you out for your obnoxious posts. They just ignore it. You have rambled on and on and on rarely making any sense and consistently using the same words over and over and over again. I can appreciate you being passionate about your points but we definitely get where you stand. You have repeated multiple times that you are going to stop and wait but you continue with the same things. Which is your right of course.

Sorry Lisa, caterwauling reminds me of those cater pillars on the cater wall that were mentioned earlier.  I really liked the word picture.

Ululating sounds Hawaiian to me though...  Maybe I could grow to like it.

Rebel, I guess I am speaking more in terms of people in the GCM movement as a whole, I don't know a whole lot of people in the Minneapolis churches that I communicate with anymore.

Even though it's Latin, the word "ululate" always reminds me of the zaghareet used in the Arabic-speaking world. (If you've never heard it, you can listen here.)

Caterwauling. Just looked it up. Has to do with Sex. Of cats. The noise they make as they have sex. So is this just part of the Evergreen culture then...caterwauling? We have already established poor sexual boundaries in the organization.

verb (used without object)
1.to utter long wailing cries, as cats in rutting time.

noun, Also, caterwauling
4.the cry of a cat in rutting time.

That helps Huldahˇ  I'm very familiar with the Tunisian variant; it has helped me locate my family members at more than one occasion.

Well, that explains a great deal.

Including, perhaps, why some of the people from ECC have claimed that it's defamatory to falsely accuse anyone of being on the ECC board of trustees.

I'm still trying to form an opinion too.  Can be pretty embarrassing at times.

I’ve heard enough horror stories from women in GCx (e.g. the present MD situation, etc.) to know that women have it much worse. I find it hard to imagine that any woman “happily” living the GCx lifestyle could truly be mentally well. But maybe there are women out there who really do enjoy being submissive to their husbands, being sexually available 24/7, and cranking out kids as fast as their bodies will allow.

Quote from: GT
But I suppose all you loving Christian women are not bothered that your sisters are talked about this way?

It doesn't bother me because I see it as sympathetic toward women who are beaten down (figuratively) and oppressed by their churches. If a woman freely chooses to become the mother of a large family, well and good, no problem, and more power to her. What Prince is describing is the woman who is coerced (subtly or more forcefully) into accepting this as God's will, even if she never wanted it, and even if she's temperamentally unsuited to it.

I found Prince's words compassionate, not degrading.

Thank you all for showing your true colors here. I would not have been able to show just how you view Gods people, brothers and sisters. And  I’m happy to continue showing the truth of this form, for those who has yet experienced how low it goes here

I have never made comments like a Prince or blonde, but have just shared what is obvious to most, that this is not a healthy place to be. But as long as you cut down a Church and people I Love, I will continue to expose the caterwauling here. Hulda, just a term always used growing up of annoying people who just love to hear themselves talk. Enjoy your evening, and Happy caterwauling

Caterwauling is to howl sexually. As in cats. Cats caterwaul having sex.

I do not own a cat but even if I did I would not enjoy caterwauling because that would be disturbing behavior to enjoy with my cat.

No caterwauling will be going on here.

This makes no sense. Many of us are God's people. If you're a born-again believer, we're your brothers and sisters in Christ. We may be brothers and sisters you disagree with, or even brothers and sisters you don't like, but we're among those with whom you will be spending eternity.

Doesn't that motivate you to at least try to see where we're coming from?

This conflict is just a drop in the ocean, compared to the tens of hundreds of thousands of unending years we'll be worshiping Him together.

There WILL be cats in heaven, and this is not a negotiable doctrine. I bet they'll be able to talk there though...
