Recovery Website Shuts Down Abusive Ministry Leader

I believe the Recovering Grace website (for former and future Ex-Gothard trainees) has been referred to once or more on this site.  It seems it has been quite effective in identifying twisted teachings and inside abuses in the Institute for Basic Life Principles (formerly known as Institute for Basic Youth Conflicts).  In fact, it is cited as bringing to light the harm of IBLP's "house brand doctrines" and of Bill Gothard himself.  It seems the excessive abuse uncovered on the Recovering Grace site played a large role in bringing about the exit of Gothard himself.  Here is the quote from the 2014 article describing such:

'The allegations stem from posts published online by Recovering Grace, an organization "dedicated to helping those affected by the teachings of Gothard, the Institute in Basic Life Principles and the Advanced Training Institute."'

I thought you would want to been reminded that what you post on here is very valuable.  That God is working, and that your testimony here does make a difference.  This website could also be the springboard for actions that bring the real end of McCotter's/GCX's teaching and abuse that is perpetuated to this day.
