In case anyone is interested:

Quote
From: International Cultic Studies Association

As part of ICSA's continuing support of research into an important and emerging issue - Cults and Creativity - Michael Langone has invited me to guest edit an upcoming special issue of Cultic Studies Review on Cults and Creativity.

I am excited about this opportunity to bring my work as a psychotherapist/analyst at the Cult Clinic of the Jewish Board of Family and Children's Services and in private practice in New York City, as well as my background as a classically trained painter to this collaborative effort. We have already gathered several incisive articles for the journal.

To increase our understanding of this subject, I am inviting the ICSA Community to fill out a survey that permits you to offer your thoughts on cults and creativity. You can find the survey here: http://www.icsahome.com/survey/cultsoncreativity.asp (copy and paste the URL into your browser if the link does not work for you).

I thank you in advance!

Sincerely,

Dana

in case anybody wants more information on the on the organization.

Another project in the works is trying set up a series  of shelters where former members may go to find refuge from their former groups.  They are are looking to provide food, clothing shelter, and counseling  referrals for former member in crises.  Pray that can come to fruition.  I have been dreaming and praying about it since I left my groups and lost a friend to a GC group in 1984.
