Hi, guys,
Does anyone have any good non-spanking parenting books to recommend? I don't know where to start.

Thanks!

My wife recommends:

Boundaries For Kids

The Power of Positive Parenting

I'm also told that you should avoid books by James Dobson.

I liked Dare to Discipline and James Dobson.  I never found anything objectionable with focus on the family ministries.  I used him to help with child raising when my kids were young and would recommend his books.

I like Christian Discipline by Dr. Sears.
Discipline without Distress... can't remember who wrote that one.
