I saw this site a while back: http://www.christianassociates.org/

And though upon how its content, writing, etc. looked cultish, and then thought how it resembled GC a lot. It also reminded me of GC's prideful self-adulation with its bold self-declaration of how "A Movement Takes Shape".

Then something stranged happened today, it took me aback: I was on the gcmministries  site and saw it here: http://www.gcmweb.org/who/Partners.aspx

What is this list of partners? It includes Reformed Theological Seminary, which AFAIK has as much to do with GCx as the man in the moon.

I wonder if the "partners" know they are listed as partners!

My niece is a missionary in one of the cities that Christian Associates is in. She knows our story. I e-mailed her this morning and she said she knew the CAI people in her town quite well and fellowships with them. I will see if she can determine what relationship GCM has with CAI.

The best thing would be if Tom Mauriello would enlighten us as to what that means, but he's a busy guy...

I am not a resident expert.  Offhand it did not sound like anything inside our GC sphere.  The account does give legitimate Christianity a bad name.  I was saddened by the report. My thoughts and prayers to any of the victims.
